Interesting leak… Personally I’m glad to see Hank striving to do more in his new role at the NIA. I’ve been at odds with that organization for — well.. a while. I know that probably won’t change — but I’m still excited to see the Agency evolve and begin to leverage some of the expertise that came out of the Niantic Project (and everything that followed).

Misty — great to see you again.

Yeah, my guess is this is going to be a work in progress. Obviously I can’t share all the details but my hope is the RPE research unit is just the beginning of NIA 2.0. I’d like to have expert consultants down here regularly. What’s that song? Better faster stronger smarter… something like that. Anyway. Trying to dig this house out of the paranoid pit it’s been trapped in under previous management.

Not everyone’s happy about it. But I’m not in it for the popularity contest.

RPE’s just the start. Figure you’ll be back when your schedule and my budget align. I suppose we’ll have to wait for the team’s eyes to unglaze too.

Take care.
